From waste to green electricity through gasification

UNIWASTEC has an exceptionally innovative waste treatment solution. Instead of burning waste, as incineration plants do, we shred, sort, dry, recycle and store waste for subsequent energy generation.

We return everything possible to the cycle during the first steps of our process. Only non-recyclables are used for our thermolytic cracking process (TCP) and power generation process.

Our solution contains cutting-edge technologies, is resource-saving, completely emission-free and cheaper than conventional waste incineration.

Cutting-edge technologies

UNIWASTEC has a sophisticated technical process for shredding, sorting, screening and separating waste. State-of-the-art equipment with intelligent sensor technology is used. This leads to highly efficient separation of the waste materials and a return to the life cycle whenever possible.

Emission-free energy recovery

Instead of burning waste, we process waste into recyclables, synthesis gas, synthetic natural gas and green electricity. With the help of our thermolytic cracking process, we convert waste to synthesis gas emission free and generate green electricity. The only leftover product during the process is pure carbon, which is an excellent carbon-capturing method.

Cheaper than incineration

Due to our innovative technologies and energy recovery process, we are able to convert waste to energy at a much lower cost than the market. Our emission-free process enables a massive negative CO2 balance and generates CO2-equivalents way above 500kg per processed ton of waste.
