Liquid manure treatment
UNIWASTEC’s liquid manure treatment process converts the problematic material slurry into valuable resources.
Technology
UNIWASTEC’s liquid manure treatment process converts the problematic material slurry into valuable resources.
In this process, the manure is subjected to pressure sterilisation at temperatures between 75 and 220 degrees Celsius and pressures of 3-10 bar. This kills viruses, antibiotic residues and bacteria.
In the next step, the liquid phase is separated from the solid phase and valuable nutrients are isolated. This produces biomass, NPK fertiliser and service water.
Core Advantages
Sustainability
The over-fertilization of soils as well as groundwater contamination through liquid manure are avoided.
Resource-saving
The valuable nutrients are recovered and can be used in agriculture.
Flexibility
The plant systems are modularly scalable and independent of the public power grid.
